Terms & Conditions.

Plympton St Maurice Terms and Conditions

Nursery Prices and Bookings

A signed and fully completed registration form must be received by the Childcare Centre along with a registatrion fee paid, before a place can be secured. Sessions must fit the session times detailed on the forms, however we will attempt to meet individual requirements where necessary.

Fees and Invoices

The Registration fee is non-refundable, and needs to be paid into our bank – Account Nunber 33579168 Sort Code 77-09-21 upon registration. If you are receiving Me2 funding then a registration fee is not required.

Invoices are payable monthly in advance, no later than the 10th of each month, unless agree by the Management, to be paid weekly. Fees can be paid by BACS, childcare vouchers or Government funding. Late payment will be subject to a late payment fee and possible suspension of future sessions if arrears continue, or if it becomes a regular thing.

All invoices are based on your child’s normal weekly sessions. Extra sessions should be paid for as soon as you receive the invoice. Holiday club (playscheme invoices will be on a separate invoice).

All sessions booked must be paid for, regardless of whether the child attends. No refunds will be given for sessions missend as a result of sickness, unless a doctors/hospital note is provided. If holidays are taken during school term and we are notified 4 weeks before, then half fees will be deducted for that period. We are not liable for collection of fees from third parites eg colleges and grant funding. The parents/carer remains responsible for all outstanding fees. If childcare fees are not paid on time, your childs place may be at risk, and we may have to refer for collection of fees to the collection agency.

Nursery Closure

The Nursery is open for 51 weeks of the year. During the school holidays (which are based on Plymouth City Council term times), we operate a Playscheme except for bank holidays. We are shut for the week between Christmas and New Year and usually a day for staff training/cleaning at the end of the summer playscheme.

Termination/Cancelation/Change

We require one months notice in writing should you wish to terminate a place for any reason. Parents still remain liable for fees during this notice period. We reserve the right to terminate a place with emmediate effect if any fees are not paid by the due date.

We have a zero tolerance policy to abusive/unacceptable behaviour, and this includes verbal and physical behaviour and comments made on any social media. We reserve the right to terminate a space, if any parent/carer or child displays abusive, threatening or otherwise inappropriate behaviour.

If a start date is postponed for any reason by a parent/carer we reserve the right to change from the original start date stated on the registration form. Changing and swapping of sessions will only be permitted subject to written notice being given and spaces being available.

Personal Property and Belongings

We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to children’s property. Every effort will be made by staff to ensure the childrens belongings are not lost or damaged. Please avoid bringing in toys from home as they may get lost or broken.

Practical, inexpensive clothing is strongly recommended for children attending the Nursery. It is the parents/carers responsibility to ensure all items of clothing and belongings are clearly labelled with child’s name.

Insurance

We have extensive insurance cover, details of this are available upon request.

Behaviour Management

We may require parents/carers to withdraw or remove their child from the Nursery in the event that the Management considers the child to be disruptive or displaying inappropriate behaviour.
